PRIVACY NOTICE
The Reading Rooms uses personal data for the purposes of managing the hall, its bookings and finances, running and marketing events at the hall, and its fundraising activities. We keep this data within Hallmaster, a proprietary online booking system, which handles room bookings and the associated invoicing and payments. This information forms part of our accounting records and therefore, in line with charity accounting legislation, we must retain this data for the current financial year and the 6 previous years (and for longer where required by our insurers).
We do not pass on any information to third parties, nor do we store sensitive data.

NOTE: This policy only applies to our web site service and not to the companies, individuals, organisations or other websites to which there may be links.
1. By making a booking, you are consenting to us collecting and using personal information about you as specified in this Policy. We store your data in Hallmaster, a proprietary online system that handles bookings, invoicing and payments. See our Privacy Notice for further details. .
2. Should we choose to change our Policy for any reason, the changes will be posted here, so that you are always kept informed of how we collect and use your personal information, and when we may disclose it.
3. You will need to provide personal information when making a booking, e.g. your name, e-mail address, home or business address and telephone number.
4. We do not request any sensitive personal data as defined within the GDPR Act 2018.
5. We may use personal information collected about you to let you know about functionality changes to our web site or changes to our terms and conditions of use.
6. The Reading Rooms reserves the right to access and disclose individually identifiable information to comply with applicable laws and lawful government requests, to operate its systems properly or to protect itself or its users.
7. We have strict security procedures covering the storage and disclosure of your information in order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure and to comply with the GDPR Legislation
